Unfortunately Indiegogo does not respond to customer service inquires in a timely manner, and they tickers and counters never seem to work. Although I am still struggling to raise awareness for Vaper Awareness, I will not be working with Indiegogo in the future. IF YOU HAVE ALSO HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH INDIEGOGO, I urge you to reach out to me, as I will be releasing a press release after this campaign has concluded and the funds have been dispersed to me. Thank you, Kristen
Smell smoke? Who's fighting for your quality of life? Doing nothing? May as well strike the match. Join Vape Response
This is a top down approach to get people to "let smoking cigarettes go." Targeting the oldest cigarette smokers, so that as they quit, they will show, by example, how easy it is to be responsible and fight against Second Hand Smoke. We must protect the right to Vape.
Less than two years ago, I lost my father to lung cancer. It was a five year long battle, that we never thought would happen to us. The series of doctors, running to and from appointments, to exams and treatments left all of us physically exhausted for years. The random hospital stays, when a cold, turned into pneumonia, meant another several weeks of overdrive. We pitched in, and we juggled the best we could, trying to keep everything else non-cancer related running smoothly. The emotional toll, filled with misguided hope that radiation, chemotherapy, or a lobectomy (a surgical procedure performed to remove one of the lobes of the lungs), would save my dad, changed all who loved him. Lung cancer is a disgusting and degrading disease, that stole pieces of my dad every day, little by little, until there was nothing left. I do not wish this on anyone. Possibly if Vapor was available, my father may have been able to quit smoking as easily as I did.
I am not alone in this, according to the World Health Organization July 2013:
- Tobacco kills up to half of its users.
- Tobacco kills nearly 6 million people each year. More than five million of those deaths are the result of direct tobacco use while more than 600 000 are the result of non-smokers being exposed to second-hand smoke. Unless urgent action is taken, the annual death toll could rise to more than eight million by 2030.
- Nearly 80% of the world's one billion smokers live in low- and middle-income countries.
- Consumption of tobacco products is increasing globally, though it is decreasing in some high-income and upper middle-income countries.
A Vapor Store that promotes Vapor as a Smoke Cessation Aid. I believe that Vapor Stores provide a real solution to cigarette smokers. I personally have struggled with cigarettes since I was in middle school. Over 25 years of cigarette smoking, trying various cessation aids, which resulted in many failed attempts to quit. Vapor was the easiest cessation aid to use, and made quitting cigarette smoking as easy as changing from regular soda to diet soda.
Currently Vapor products are being sold alongside tobacco products, or in head shops, next to adult movies and drug paraphernalia. A place my dad would have never stepped foot inside. I want a Vapor Store that promotes Vapor as a Smoke Cessation Aid. I want to be a socially responsible Vapor retailer, targeting people who struggle with tobacco addiction. A clean safe place, where my father would have been proud to be associated with and the place he would have been able to win his battle with cigarette addiction.

Future . . . Charitable Organization 501c3
I am calling on other concerned people in the Vaping Community to join me in the formation of The K10 Vapor Council.
For those of you who have never started a 501c3 I will briefly outline the process. First we must establish a group of volunteers who want to aid in the establishment of this council. We will use Google Hangouts to have a monthly video meeting. 1) Create Constitution and By Laws 2) Incorporate 3) One year of Meeting Minutes (annual, monthly, weekly, we decide) 4) Apply for 501c3 status 5) Celebrate the new 501c3 Charitable Organization
(I have done this before. The process is easy when you know the steps.)
The Board Of Directors

This group will create the Constitution and By Laws for this corporation, and are signing on for a two year commitment to work with The Vapor Council from Constitution & Incorporation until 501c3 designation.
Mission Statement: The Vapor Council is an independent organization of people, committed to fighting for fair Vapor regulations and legislation. We agree in a cooperative approach between, manufacturers, distributors, retailers and users, to create a safe and respectful vaping community.
