Become a supporter of Twin Cities Veg Fest to make a great event even better! Your support will help us reach new audiences, provide more tasty vegan food, and let us bring great music to the festival. We're going to make the festival even bigger, with more exhibitors, more attendees, and more fun.
Compassionate Action for Animals is hosting our second Twin Cities Veg Fest on October 26th, 2013. The festival will take place from 10am to 4pm at Coffman Memorial Union on the Minneapolis campus of the University of Minnesota
Twin Cities Veg Fest is for anyone and everyone – from vegetarians and vegans to omnivores! Attendees learn where their food comes from, how to be a healthy vegetarian or vegan, and why being compassionate benefits everyone. Attendees enjoy free food, insightful speakers, great music, and delicious meals. For this year's festival, we're adding a day of free music to the schedule!
Twin Cities Veg Fest is free to attend. Your generous support is what makes this possible.

It's really exciting to see that we're more than half way to our goal just two weeks into the campaign. Last year's Twin Cities Veg Fest was a huge success, but what's most exciting is that there is room for improvement. We think that by adding a concert and doing more advertising, we can attract even more attendees.
We've already gotten some great exhibitors signed up, including some favorites from last year like Peace Coffee, Ethique Nouveau, and Upton's Naturals.
It's traditional to announce some stretch goals when a campaign like this is going well. If we can raise significantly more than $1,500 we can do even more cool stuff to make this a great event. Here are our first batch of stretch goals.
If we raise $2,000 we will be able to do even more advertising. The more we can advertise the event, the more people will come. We want to get as many people as we can to come try delicious vegan food, learn more about factory farming, and to have a great time.
If we raise $2,500 we will be able to invite some bigger name musicians. Right now our concert budget is limited, so we're limited to artists willing to work for peanuts. With more funding, we can look at inviting at least one bigger name act that would otherwise be out of reach.
Finally, at $3,000 we will explode some tofu. As part of last year's fundraising campaign, we promised exploding tofu at the event. That never happened because we, um, ran out of funds before we could detonate the tofu. But this year, with your help, we can make our shared dream of exploding tofu a reality!
Please spread the word to your friends and family. With your support, this year's festival will be amazing!
