Plot Summary

The Wolf is the tale of a young man (Phil) searching for an address, his estranged father, and himself. Trapped inside his own car, Phil must navigate the roads of a strange town as he wards off the increasing pressure from his older siblings to attend an unspecified event hosted by their mother. The film is structured like a fairy tale: our "hero" must overcome three obstacles to reach his goal.

About the Director

Oh hey! That's me. Well, I'm currently a senior studying film at Montana State University. "The Wolf" is my senior thesis project. After college I plan on moving to Los Angeles. There are just so many people there ready, able, and willing to make movies. I would like to continue to write and direct more independent or relatively lower budget films. However, too much speculation on the future seems foolish at this point; the process of making this film has already changed my perception of filmmaking and myself so tremendously that I can't imagine how they will change in the future. But I do still love writing and directing...

What We Need & What You Get

The Wolf is currently in post production, but there is still much to be done. What we need money for is:

  • Composing a score
  • Reimbursement for camera (RED 1)
  • Reimbursemnt for steadicam
  • Reimbursement for broken pay phone.
  • Festival entry fees

Your Impact

By donating you are essentially contributing to the education of not only myself, but the entire crew of the film. The Wolf is completely student produced. The best way to learn about making a movie is by simply making movies. However, films take a lot money to make, more money than a school is able to provide, so our education is only completed due to the contributions of people like you.

How Else Can You Help?

If you are not able to make some sort of monetary contribution you can always send this link out to anyone and everyone that may be willing to help out.

Thank you so much!
