THE FILMThe Oxide Incident is the story of Simon, a recently divorced sound archivist, who unearths a magical reel-to-reel audio tape that never plays the same thing twice. When it seems to begin referencing his life, he starts to believe it can help him heal his relationship with his teenage daughter.
The genre is magical realism, not unlike the famous Twilight Zone series. It takes an ordinary character and places him in a fantastical situation.
