The Dinner Guest-A Night Walker Cinema Film

Our first feature film is called “The Dinner Guest”. This project is very near and dear to us. In fact, it was this idea that spawned the creation of NWC.

The Dinner Guest

Our Story

Hi! First off, if you are reading this, allow us to say THANK YOU and introduce ourselves. Just two short years ago, we formed a production company called Night Walker Cinema (NWC), consisting of Joseph Dean Martinez and James Neff.

While inspired by awesome films and filmmakers of the current and past, we feel that horror films have received a tarnished reputation as of late. Our goal is to change that. It’s time for the horror genre to garner the respect it deserves!

The Impact

We LOVE film and HORROR especially, but Hollywood doesn't seem to be putting out the types of films that it used to. From relying on remakes and bad CGI, the Horror genre is suffering.

We want to help prove that there are still original ideas out there that don't necessarily need a million dollar budget. Up until now, we’ve self-funded and produced our short films from start to finish. Our most recent short film, "32", was just announced as an official selection into the Mascara and Popcorn International Film Festival.

Making these short films has been a true labor of love but also blood, sweat, tears, and credit cards ;-). Unfortunately, our next project needs more love than we have the means to provide.

What We Need & What You Get

Our first feature film (and the reason for this campaign) is called “The Dinner Guest”. This project is very near and dear to us. In fact, it was this idea that spawned the creation of NWC.

We are hoping to raise $6,000 to cover the cost of production and everywhere in between. So, we are turning to you, the greatest and most supportive community in the world, the horror community, to help with contributions and/or promotions.

We are also EXCITED to announce that ERIC FOX from the hit SyFy show FACE/OFF has signed on as our Special Effects artist.

In exchange for your contributions, we're offering perks such as a cameo in the film and Executive Producer credits. Your donations will help us bring our dream into reality rather than slip further into an abyss.

We don’t want to spoil the plot, so to give you a taste, we filmed a promotional teaser that we hope you'll watch and enjoy.

Other Ways You Can Help

If you can't contribute financially, please help by spreading the word, telling your friends and especially your rich uncle. :p

THANK YOU for supporting indie films, our horror community, and all of us struggling to bring a vision to life!
