SYNOPSIS

The film is a fast-paced, “docu-thriller,” following one man's peek behind the curtain of the official 9/11 story.   As his investigation progresses he struggles to cope with the findings of his own research and the impact it has on his life and those around him.

In the film, businessman-turned-filmmaker, David Hooper takes the audience down the "rabbit hole" to get a deeper look at the evidence.  He presents a compelling case for why, even after a decade, the story of 9/11 remains relevant. 



PURPOSE OF THE FILM

Many questions remain and the people behind the film hope to get the issue pushed deeper into the mainstream.  This film is intended to be a fascinating, thorough and gentle introduction to the realities of 9/11 for people that haven't been exposed to the controversies surrounding the official story.  The film is also meant to be a tool for those in the 9/11-truth movement to help broach the topic with skeptics.  In other words, it's meant to be a bridge, no matter what side of the 9/11-fence we sit.

THE FILMMAKER'S PERSONAL STORY

"Even though I didn't know it at the time, work on this film began in February of 2011.  Back then I was a regular guy trying to live the American dream with a house full of kids and another one on the way.

It all started with an innocent question about the official story of 9/11.  And that lead to more innocent questions.  After a few months of research, I knew the official version couldn't be true.

That was a very hard time in my life.  If felt like my world was turned upside down.  I tried to discuss it with others, but no one really believed what I was finding.  Back then, my wife, and even my own mother didn't believe what I was trying to tell them.

No matter how I tried to get them to open their eyes to the controversies of 9/11, nothing worked.  So, I made this movie with a few friends and family members in mind; to speak to them directly and get my sanity back.

It worked.  My wife finally woke up, as did my mom!  They even helped me put on a screening party for about 100 friends back in March.  About 80% of the crowd never even knew there was a controversy surrounding the official version.  The film connected with the audience."   (continued below)

"Many of my formerly-skeptical friends and family members have since come around and discussed how they've completely changed their views about the events of 9/11, as a result of watching the film.  That was cathartic after suffering in silence for so long!

I thought I was done with the movie after the big screening for my friends.  After all, I had reached my goal of showing the movie to them.  But then I started getting requests for the movie through word-of-mouth from all over the world.

I came to realize there are many more people like me, millions even, who know the official story can't be true and need a way to effectively introduce the controversies of the official story to those around them.  This film was made with them in mind, so we can bridge the divide in our country."

USE OF THE FUNDS

Of the funds raised, $5k will be needed to finish the movie, which includes the final edits plus video and sound engineering.  The remainder of the funds will be used to execute the Marketing & Distribution Plan of the film. 

The film will be released through conventional film sales channels, including digital platforms.  But, it's the proprietary distribution plan that really has potential, which aims to get the film positioned for sale in the checkout/impulse-buying area of thousands of retailers both online and offline across several geographic regions at a time.

Depending on the campaign's level of success, the film will be initially be released in Chicago, Detroit and/or Ann Arbor, MI, where the filmmakers have personal ties to each city.  If this strategy is successful, we'll continue releasing the film in a city-by-city pattern until something speeds us up or stops us.

HELPING THE TRUTH MOVEMENT

We have pledged $1 from each DVD sold to two excellent organizations tied to 9/11-truth. 

1.  The first is Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (or AE911Truth.org).  They are a non-profit, non-partisan organization of architects, engineers and affiliates dedicated to revealing the facts about the complete destruction of all three World Trade Center high-rises on September 11, 2001. 


2.  The second is The Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund, which provides 9/11 victim's family members with continued educational assistance.  The Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund is helping the people of America through this terrible tragedy and we are hoping we can help make a difference in the child of someone who was lost on 9/11 through them.
