Ana Apple was established in January 2009 and proudly creates quirky apparel for infants and youth that celebrates childhood whimsy and inspires generosity.
Our products include infant bodysuits & bibs and youth tees & hoodies. We are committed to constructing our products locally using kind materials sourced in the US, such as felt made from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. At Ana Apple, we believe that even the smallest actions add up to make a significant impact. We regularly contribute to organizations that share our core values of creativity, integrity and community.
Our Next Steps
Ana Apple was recently named the Grand Prize winner of the Calling All Dreamers competition
hosted by the Downtown Sacramento Partnership. We will relocate our
headquarters to Old Sacramento in the Fall and expand our footprint to
include a boutique and children's workshop studio. It's an incredible
opportunity to take our brand to the next big level by showcasing our
growing product line and increasing our community involvement.
The award package includes a $10,000 funding match, which will be invested primarily in space build-outs, substantially increasing inventory and hiring additional employees locally. To move forward with all the elements of our vision, we will need to raise more capital!

What We Need & What You Get
Here's how the funds will be used:
Hiring 2-4 local residents for part-time positions: Production Assistant, Retail Associate(s) and Administrative Assistant needed to man the adorable battle stations.

- Executing space build-out: We will be responsible for covering the costs beyond what is provided in the CAD prize package to get our space ready to rock-n-roll.
Covering general start-up costs: Displays and signage and bags, oh my! All the little expenses sure do add up quickly-- Help us get a head-start on crossing these goodies off our list.
Upgrading our insurance policy: Because covering our buns is serious business.
Infant Bibs: BPA-free cotton and terry cloth blend. Recommended for ages 3-12 months, but we have seen little ones rocking our bibs until age 2!
