It's the first warm, beautiful day of spring. You've been itching all winter to go riding. You jump on your quad and take off. Ten minutes later you stop. Why? To ease the pain in your throbbing thumb.
The patented DXTrigger is engineered to reduce pain and improve riding dynamics. Our inspiration materialized from the pain and difficulty of long ATV rides. The unique design delivers comfort and performance and works with the standard OEM throttle.
The unique design enables 3 throttle options:
- "Push" Traditional thumb throttle
- "Trigger Pull" Comfortable finger throttle
- "Pinch" Dynamic control using fingers and thumb
- More comfortable ride
- Better grip enhances throttle control over rough terrain
- A more natural hand movement with the "pinch"
- Easier for women, children, and small-handed creatures
- Benefits people with thumb disabilities or arthritic conditions
We took it to the riders, both recreational and professional, and enjoyed watching their eyes light up and smiles grow big as they used the DXTrigger.
Who we are
We are a team of 10 creative minds with expertise in engineering, robotics, manufacturing, quality assurance and business. Most importantly, we all share the same passion and drive: innovating, inventing, and improving the world.
We have enjoyed the DXTrigger for years and think it's time that you should, too.
What you can do
We have built and tested the DXTrigger for Honda, and now we need your support to begin production and bring it to riders everywhere. We will provide both durable plastic injection molded units as well as CNC machined aluminum units. All units will be manufactured and assembled in the U.S.A.
Don't own a Honda? Back us! Make this project a success and enable us to complete engineering the DXTrigger for ATVs made by other manufacturers.
Risks and challenges
All projects have risks, and as an experienced team we know how to manage them and achieve success. Our strategy includes good planning and continuous communication with suppliers.
We have inspected and selected a partner to make our molds and produce all plastic components. We have a good working relationship with them.
We also have machine shops ready to manufacture our metal components. Each company is professional and experienced, local to our community, and easy for us to work with.
We love quality and reliability. The first 1000 DXTriggers will be tested in-house against our stringent engineering standards. Further orders will continue to be inspected by dedicated Quality Control personnel.
By now you know that the DXTrigger delivers the ultimate comfort and performance long sought by the ATV community. We’re here for you, and ask that your return the favor.
