|LED Technology||Ways You Can Help|
We made some modifications to the ST-100 and have removed ~4" from the length and ~2lbs of weight!
As filmmakers and photographers, we're constantly trying to do one thing - make our work better. And in doing so, we want to be using the best tools possible. This could be an updated camera body, or a new tripod, or - lights.
We've noticed a big problem in the lighting industry - people want LED lights, but everything on the market tends to be too expensive, poorly made, or difficult to modify.
Strahlen is the solution.
We began work in December of 2012 to create a new, high-output LED light made using three overarching principles:
Foot-candle Output (Tungsten - open face)
Foot-candle Output (Daylight - open face)
Colorimetry (Tungsten & Daylight)

Color Rendering Index:
Tungsten | Daylight | Bi-Color
Bowens S-type | 3" Magnetic Attachment
Baby mount (5/8")
16.5" x 7.5" x 5.5"
90-305V AC, 47-63Hz
One year limited
Chimera Mount (add $75)
The Chimera 6.5" mount attaches to the front of the ST-100 and gives you the best of both worlds - high quality Chimera modifiers and budget-friendly S-type modifiers, all in one light. The ability to modify the look of the ST-100 is practically limitless!
Dome Diffuser (add $60)
Turn the ST-100 into a bare bulb light! This add-on is perfect for photographers who are used to working with bare bulb strobes, or for anybody looking to create a smooth, 180 degree spread of light. The dome simply attaches on the front by using magnets - there's nothing to twist or screw, just pop it on and pull it off.
Fresnel (add $100)
This fixed-distance Fresnel lens narrows the beam spread down to ~60 degrees - allowing you to throw the light from the ST-100 while maintaining excellent output. Just like the dome diffuser, the Fresnel attaches using magnets and is simple to use.
Strahlen on Set(top)
We've been testing out the ST-100 on several productions in a variety of mixed-light environments. Here's a quick video highlighting a few of the productions that the ST-100 has been used on.

We're coming to the Indiegogo community with a finished product that is ready for manufacturing.
We've spent the past year building relationships with our manufacturers and suppliers, researching and testing every component, and taking the ST-100 out into the field to determine and resolve any usability and reliability issues. Through all of this hard work, we've developed the ST-100 into a product that we confidently stand behind.
If we meet and exceed our goal, we'll be able to produce enough units to not just meet our demand on Indiegogo but also deliver additional demo units to distributors and rental houses across the nation, making the ST-100 readily available to creatives everywhere.
We'll be able to travel to shows across the US (we're lookin' at you, NAB!) and get Strahlen in front of even more awesome people.
And, most importantly, we'll be able to invest even more time and money into improving the ST-100. We believe that we have an incredibly strong base to launch Strahlen, but without your support - we have nothing.
Ways You Can Help(top)
Back our campaign! By backing our campaign, you're telling us that the ST-100 is a good idea — good enough to put your hard-earned money behind it. When we meet our goal, we'll be able to dive right into production and bring high quality LED lights to everyone.
Share our campaign! The only way we'll reach our goal is if you spread the word about Strahlen. It may not seem like much, but sharing our campaign on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and all of the other awesome spots on the web is priceless to us. And don't forget to use the Indiegogo share tools at the top!
Give us your input! Help us develop Strahlen! We like to think of ourselves as pretty smart people, but only with your help will Strahlen become something that you'll want to buy. So comment, email, or PM us with your ideas. And get your friends to do it, too!

Risk and Challenges(top)
We have been working on developing the ST-100 for over a year. In this time, we have experienced a variety of challenges from design, to component suppliers, to manufacturers - but we’ve worked together through every problem to land on the best solution possible.
We’re happy to say that we’re ready to move forward with every aspect of production - all we need is your help to turn all of our hard work into reality.
I'm ordering 2+ units and want a mixture of ST-100T's and ST-100D's. Can you make that happen?
Absolutely! Just specify how many you want to be ST-100T's and how many you want to be ST-100D's.
Are these available internationally?
We're in the midst of researching international requirements. With your help we can speed up the work necessary to ship the ST-100 internationally and make it available in countries worldwide.
Can the ST-100 be battery-powered?
Not yet (at least not directly), but that's the #1 feature we're working on.
Can I get multiple perks?
Yes! You can back our campaign as many times as you want, choosing as many perks as you want.
How can I contribute to Strahlen's specs and features? Can I give you some free advice?
Yes, please! Be sure to add your suggestions to the comments of the campaign. We're paying close attention to what you want out of Strahlen and we'll work hard to integrate a lot of your suggestions.
I’ve changed my mind. Can I get a refund?
Sorry, Indiegogo’s policy is No Refunds. Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do about this. When your contribution is deposited into our PayPal account, it comes from Indiegogo, not from you. So if we were to refund your contribution, it wouldn’t make it back to you. Please see Indiegogo’s rules here.
