Please help fund this
incredible non-profit! In addition to raising money for research, it is essential to
focus on the children we already know, love, and care for!
Your contribution will allow us to put our successfully proven education program online and send a clear anti-bullying message across the nation! This campaign will fund e-Learning educational modules to teach school-age children around the country about the challenges of autism and other disabilities. This program has significantly reduced bullying throughout our trial schools. We need your help to reach more classrooms!
We want kids to feel empathy for their classmates with challenges, instead of fear or judgment of them.
We want to stop bullying and create a culture of acceptance and compassion.
KINDNESS IS COOL
More than 3,500 students throughout New Jersey, New York, New Hampshire, Florida, Ohio, and Wisconsin have received SNAP's special needs sensitivity training that is the groundwork for “Kindness is Cool.” The program encompasses a broad educational goal of teaching awareness and acceptance, and to deliver a clear anti-bullying message in hopes of aspiring change in schools across the country.
“Kindness is Cool” would pair an online, kid-friendly, e-learning series with hands-on, teacher-led modules that allow students (grades three to five) to experience what it is like to have a disability.
Watch a demonstration of SNAP's educational trainings below:
When students need to know how to interact and engage with special needs students, the best way to do this is by placing them in scenarios that mimic real-life situations. Accessible and engaging e-Learning courses that place learners into virtual scenarios help to form new behaviors. However, these e-Learning courses need to be powerful to fulfill important learning goals. With your help, we can deliver online learning that is effective to students throughout the country!
- The online portion will introduce students to relatable characters that simulate instances of bullying and teach children how to act in various scenarios.
- The interactive portion, carefully designed by teachers, therapists and parents, uses blindfolds, balance balls and other techniques so students experience the frustrations faced by their disabled classmates; including those that might have dyslexia or cerebral palsy.

What is SNAP?
SNAP is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides athletic and educational programs to children with special needs. In 2011, with a grant from Autism Speaks, SNAP began its educational initiative throughout New Jersey. However, without funding, it is impossible for us to keep up with demand and expand our organization. Unable to reach interested schools across the country, we are working on a series of e-Learnings to educate students, teachers, and coaches on the importance of inclusion and acceptance of all children. Our trainings have been carefully designed and have significantly reduced bullying in our trial schools. With your help, we can fund the e-Learning campaign and reach schools all over the United States. Please, help us spread Autism Awareness and put an end to school bullying!

Where Your Money Goes
SNAP, Inc. is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit foundation. The funds collected for this project are going directly to our e-Learning initiative and educational programs. No employee receives a salary so you can be sure that 100% of your donation will go towards educating children throughout the country.
The $60,000 we are raising will complete phase one of our program, which includes the creation of our Multimedia Interactive Training, Instructional Design, and LMS Hosting. Any additional donations raised will go towards the implementation of our education programs and the development of our second phase trainings for teachers, coaches, and first responders. Please help us take SNAP to the next level!
If your company does charitable matching, we would encourage you to submit your generous donation to help accelerate our fundraising. You can email firstname.lastname@example.org for our TaxID EIN number.
Please, help us expand our programs! Our goal is to enhance the lives of children, one child at a time. However, we cannot do this alone. As a non-profit children's foundation we rely on the financial assistance of caring individuals and businesses.
