SHINY Music Hall

Help us in bringing a new and unique nightlife experience to Portland Oregon.

Help me build SHINY Music Hall!

Hello! My name is Samuel Thomas and I have been given an amazing opportunity to start up something new in Portland, something shiny...

Located in an ideal spot near Jeld-Wen Field and right off of Burnside a new venue called SHINY Music Hall will soon be open - a spot where live music and dance nights will collide and where people from all walks of life can enjoy something different and awesome!

But we need your help!

Every dollar we raise with this campaign will go directly to new chairs, a new sound system, lighting, the bathrooms - things to make the entire experience more comfortable and amazing for everyone!

On the side bar you will see all the amazing perks we have, we tried to be expansive and have something for everyone - So pick an amount and a gift that is right for you - and your friends!

Think of it this way, donating to SHINY and picking a gift card would mean you just purchased your first drinks!

... or picking a glass means you have something to HOLD your first drinks!

... or if you picked the chair option - you have a place to sit while drinking your first drinks!

AMAZING!

Where are we right now?

I have enough to take over the existing bar, to change the name and get insurance, to paint and do some basic remodeling, etc - but that’s about it.

In December I will be taking over the space and will begin the transformation, with hopes of opening in early January... and that is why I need your help - to update the seating, to get a top notch sound system, fix the restrooms and so much more...

The money raised wont cover it all, but it will give us the jumpstart we need to make SHINY Music Hall something truly spectacular.

Finally, I'd like to thank William, Jason & The Where To Eat Guide for all their help in getting this campaign together...
