Hunger Clean Up, Hartman's Literacy Center, Al's Run. These are just some of the experiences that represent the Marquette University tradition of excellence, faith, leadership and service.

It is these traditions and values which make the Marquette experience unique and transformative.

This Marquette transformation cannot be undone, it cannot be discounted. Once a Marquette student, always a Marquette student.

Marquette's alumni range far and wide, maintaining the tradition of excellence, faith, leadership and service wherever they go.

The student exchange program represents a way to expand the Marquette traditions and values to other parts of the globe.

Unfortunately, housing and living costs in the U.S. often prevent otherwise qualified international students from studying in the U.S., on these exchange programs.

The Office of International Education wants to do everything possible to ensure that the Marquette legacy remains open and inclusive to students from around the world. This is why we started Operation: Marquette Welcome.

Where Your Donations Go.

The money raised will be used to cover on-campus housing costs for one student from the University of Western Cape in South Africa. These housing costs include the cost of housing at Marquette's Global Village, a food plan, books and student health insurance.

The Importance Of The Exchange Program.

Even a single international exchange student can have a transformative effect on Marquette students. This is because, with each Marquette student they interact with, that exchange student is providing access to international knowledge and intercultural competence that would otherwise be unavailable on Marquette’s campus.
