Let's save the Sacramento Kings!
Sacramento has been the home of an NBA franchise since 1985. Recently, the owners have had financial issues and are likely to sell to the highest bidder. A Seattle-based group led by Microsoft's Steve Balmer is the current front runner. Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson (a former NBA player) has been working hard to gather a new group of investors to keep the franchise in Sacramento.
Right now, the bid is competetive, but we need to put this over the top. Please contribute to this campaign so we, the fans, can buy a minority stake in the Sacramento Kings franchise.
I was born and raised in the Bay Area. I love the NBA. Not only are they stealing our team, the franchise, its stories, and records would likely be swallowed up into nothing. We can't let bullies steal our team.
I am a 26 year-old that graduated from the Marriott School of Management (BYU) with a Bachelors of Science in Accountancy. I am a Management Consultant and have deep experience working with some of the top businesses in the world.
