We need to raise $65,000 by November 7 (our date for bank processing) per the Nov 12th auction date.
We're asking for $5+ donations, non cash donations OR place this link in a high-profile place where you know it will be seen.
Givers of monetary and non-monetary gifts (link networking is not enough) get 1 free copy of any of our books and your votes will count in voting for the title of Joe's biography, due out by March 2014.
Working titles include "Simon Says Championship: The Joe Cavaleri Story" or "Repeat After Me: The Joe Cavaleri Story"
Joe has been a human mascot/cheerleader, an unpaid, volunteer position since before many reading this were born. An east coast Italian, he migrated west and fell in love with the UA.
At a baseball game in the late 1970s, Joe countered a group of obnoxious ASU fans by inventing his own style of cheering, and created the template on which future UA cheer leading squads and Wilbur and Wilma Wildcat would draw from.
Today he suffers from Parkinson's and can barely walk. His speech has slowed.
He cannot do anything more to pay his creditor. He is not the kind of man to ask for help and anyone who knows him knows a man who only posts positive messages on his social network accounts.
So, in essence, this message comes from me. WE need to step up and, giving to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's, show Chase that we know how to fight like Wildcats, on and off the field/court.
...Chase's mortgage policies...
