If we reach our goal of $3500, we'll be doing the following:

- Backers at all contribution levels will get an exclusive Romeo Juliet thank you postcard!
"For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Juliet and her Romeo."
Perhaps no story is as well-known as that of Romeo and Juliet, reimergent over the years in various artistic forms, exemplifiying the malleability and transience of storytelling. Drawing from multiple sources of the classic tale, The Opposite of People, a new theater company, pushes Romeo Juliet into the dystopian future as they discover a new interpretation of Shakespeare's text. August 14-16, 2014 at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in Watertown, MA.

The Opposite of People
The Opposite of People (TOP) is a newly established theater company that is dedicated to bringing accessible, unconventional theater to the Boston-area community. Romeo Juliet is the second production of TOP, the first being The Line That Picked Up 1000 Babes, which enjoyed a sold-out run.
The success of 1000 Babes was fantastic, and now we are aiming higher. Your contribution to this campaign will not only support the production of Romeo Juliet, but additionally help springboard TOP into a self-sustaining theater company.
Funds raised through IndieGoGo will cover the costs of producing Romeo Juliet, and ticket sales from the performances will provide the budget for our next production.Your help will have a huge, direct impact on the success of this production. Moreover, it will help us succeed in our mission of bringing accessible, unexpected, quality theater to the community.
