Why is our film important
This is an important film because it focuses on a very important present-day phenomenon: the Annusim, the “Lost Ones” who, during the Spanish and Portuguese Inquisitions, were forced to convert to Christianity but who today want to return to the faith and heritage of their past.
This film will contribute to helping increase worldwide awareness, knowledge of, respect and acceptance for the Lost Ones, the Annusim, by exposing this serious and explosive problem. It will also be an interesting and important educational tool.
What we want to accomplish:
We want to raise enough money to shoot this historically important film and to help the Annusim gain the credibility and support they so desperately want and deserve. This film will bring their plight to the world’s ear. This Hispanic and Latino group of lost people wants to be accepted for who they are and for where they came from. They want the past that was stolen from them returned! This film will work as a bridge of love, hope and understanding between all peoples in the world. We want the Annusim to be respected for who they really are and not for who they were forced to be for all of these centuries. It is an important message for all who want to preserve and keep their identities intact. We want this film to be an example of tolerance and respect---something the world desperately needs!

What We Need & What You Get
For Return of the Lost Ones, RLO I have to take a crew to Spain, Portugal, Israel, Italy, South America and Central America; need to rent very expensive equipment like the RED camera (for an Academy Award Winning look); lighting equipment and other technical stuff; have to travel to Southwest United States with a film crew to search out more descendants and other necessary interviewees; need to feed, hire, transport, etc. a film crew. We’re working on a very very modest budget but still need at least $250,000.
$150,000.00 - Productions Budget
$100,000.00- Post Productions Budget
Total Budget- 250,000.00
This is a very low budget film by Hollywood standards but we want a highly polished look of Hollywood Award winning standards without the cost. Our crew doesn’t receive top money because, like me, they BELIEVE in these films because they are very very interesting and very very important to show the world.
Do you know any Hispanic or Latino people who are descended from Spanish or Portuguese families?
