SARA TAUGHT US TO DREAM BIG. LETS DO IT FOR SARA! ALL FUNDS WILL GO TO HELPING SARA!!!
DO YOU THINK WE CAN REACH $40,000?
Why are we doing this?
We are students from Stern College for Women who made this campaign our final project. One of our students heard about Sara in 2012 and wanted to help.
She was inspired by this Sara's story. She started volunteering in May 2012 during finals and sleeping in the hospital overnight with Sara. She was blown away by Sara's strength and wanted to help her.
Who is Sara?
In November 2009, Swine Flu ran rampant throughout the country. Sara Bezaley was 7 years old at the time and was majorly affected. In 2013, she went to the Hospital again and was there for 13 months. She needed a heart transplant and had her leg amputated. After 13 months, Sara made an amazing recovery and returned home.
Sara is now in a wheelchair and faces a new challenge. Her home is not wheelchair accessible. Specifically, her bathroom needs to be renovated to accommodate her wheelchair. Sara is an incredibly strong eleven year old who has overcome great challenges. Help us turn her house into a place she can truly call home.
*Any money that we raise above our goal will go to continue helping the Bezaley's make the house more accessible! Every dollar will help Sara Bezaley.
Other Ways You Can Help
