THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
Although we did not reach our "dream budget" through our indie-gogo campaign, thanks to our incredibly supportive friends and family, we DID raise just enough to shoot the film! We are now in post production and will begin shooting in September 2013!
Completing post production is a bit of a different story and is the crucial element that will help us create a completely polished professional look and sound. An original soundtrack and sound design need to be created. We also need support for top-notch color correcting and marketing.
Every single dollar really does help. Please feel free to support our post-production efforts HERE by letting your friends know that their $10-$25 donation is tax-deductible and will help us finish our film. Thank you so very much for supporting women filmmakers creating socially conscious projects.
Your tax deductible donation will pay for production expenses including:
- Red One Camera and Lenses
- Camera Dolly Equipment
- Cast & Crew
- Sound Equipment
- Production Insurance
The majority of the donations go to post-production expenses:
Sound Design – To create a new and original sound scheme for the feature film.
Mastering - To prepare and transferr recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device(the master); the source from which all copies will be produced
Color Correction – To create uniformity between the images captured on the 5d and Red Cameras
Composer – To create an original musical score

Imagine if you were trapped in an elevator with your nemesis?
ONE MOMENT PLEASE is about a day in the life of six people caught in the grips of racism, homophobia and body obsession. Centered around a broken elevator, fundamental aspects of their lives are forever changed as self-realizations are made, beliefs are confronted, and hope is lost then found.
Every single dollar really does continue to help our efforts. Please spread the word and
WHY MAKE THIS FILM?
"Cultivating a Cinematic Culture of Compassion, One Story at a Time."
My mission as a filmmaker is to produce socially conscious films that reveal the often untold stories of our subculture. By embracing internationalism and shedding light on the different social aspects of the world, we will cultivate a cinematic culture that inspires dialogue for understanding, acceptance and compassion.
As a muti-cultural female filmmaker these are the types of stories I am committed to creating and I find nothing more exciting than aligning myself with other female filmmakers that are as commited to telling these types of stories! Please help support our efforts in planting a beneficial seed into the soil of our world through this creative medium of cinema and help our film ONE MOMENT PLEASE become a reality.
The main themes in the three stories are connection and acceptance. The stories bring to light the idea that we are more connected and similar to one another than not. Imagine if we could do this on a global level, truly connect with one another, celebrate our differences and similarities, and accept ourselves and others just the way we are? What a world this could be.
