Short Summary

Nepantla is a new poetry e-journal, dedicated to Queer Poets of Color, being curated by Christopher Soto in collaboration with The Lambda Literary Foundation. The mission of Nepantla is to nurture, celebrate, and preserve diversity within the queer poetry community. The journal will be a groundbreaking collection of some the best poetry from the QPOC community.

What We Need & What You Get

Funds which are raised for Nepantla will be used to pay (60) contributors a $25 honorarium. Funds will also be used to cover the costs of Nepantla's editorial, technical, and design support team.

The Impact

This year alone, Nepantla will be releasing its first annual poetry e-journal, facilitating poetry workshops for queer youth of color, and hosting a QPOC poetry reading series. In the years to come, Nepantla would like to expand even further and stabilize itself as a central resource for the QPOC poetry community. Come be a part of the movement!
