You can put up the DIY Kit and use DLP or LED projectors to shine a 1024 x 768 pixel image onto a layer of photo-initiated polymer resin. The result is a quick solid cure of the entire layer in one operation. The layer thickness is typically 100 microns but your model can be sliced even thinner if you need even higher resolution. Note that 100 microns is .1 mm or about 0.004"

Accuracy: Resolutions in the z (vertical) build axis from 100 to less than 10 microns are possible.
Speed: Using higher resolutions in the z-axis may result in slower build rates. When you choose different resolutions, speed various from 12 to 24 mm per hour.
Build Volume: the build area is 102.4 mm (4.03″) x 76.8 mm (3.02″) x 1200 mm (4.72″) at the 100 micron.
At the 50 micron x/y pixels setting, the build area is 51.2 mm (2.02″) x 38.4 mm (1.52″) x 1200 mm (4.72″).

UV Resins: High solidity resin can hold dozens of kilos on a square inch. It can be painted with any color. It contains several high quality chemical materials: Photo Initiator, Monomer, Strength holder and Photo Inhibitor. The normal resin does not contain the strength holder, but it is more clear and at Very Good Price (We will upload our test results soon!)
Our normal resin costs about 4 cents per gram, making the material costs to print a 3" cube less than $1!
