Narenji follows the psychological journey of a beautiful woman, Delara, in her last few hours of life. In her desperate search for relief from insomnia, her father’s haunting presence, and her own beauty, Delara develops the desire for her forbidden fruit: love. Inspired by the literary works of Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Narenji seeks to become a fantastical visual gem in the vein of Darren Aronofsky’s The Fountain and Guillermo del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth.
Narenji is a live-action short to be shot on 16mm film. Check out our website!

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
Art comes at a high price. As a fantasy piece with heavy visual symbolism, Narenji requires a lot of custom-made set and costume pieces, not to mention we will be shooting on film! To make this project as beautiful as possible, we will accept whatever we can get. Every dollar counts. All the money we receive will go towards the costs for our location, set pieces, props, costumes, make up, catering, transportation, and film. And if we have anything left over, we will be able to send our project out to festivals. We will thank our backers with credit in our film and we will supply you with lovely gifts!
