MORAL COMPASS is a short film produced by Gladiolus Productions in August 2015. Written and directed by Kylie Garcelon, it is the story of Jacquelyn, a loving wife, who faces an unthinkable reality as she witnesses her husband's severe mental decline due to Alzheimer’s Disease.
Heartbreaking and dramatic, Moral Compass is a provocative film that explores some contentious social issues. The screenplay has garnered attention and critical acclaim from the following festivals and competitions,

MEET THE CAST
Annie McGreevey as 'Jacquelyn Wainwright'
Annie McGreevey made her Broadway debut as a “Big Spender Girl” in
Sweet Charity; played Marta (“Another Hundred People”) in both the
original Broadway and London productions of Company; created the role of
Donna in The Magic Show; Lily St. Regis in Annie and 18 characters in The
Moony Shapiro Songbook; standby for Mrs. Lovett and the Beggar Woman
in Sweeney Todd at Circle in the Square. Off Broadway: Angel Eyes in I
Stand Before You Naked at the American Place Theater; Co-wrote, along
with Jim Crabtree, the one woman show Footloose in Flatbush which she
also starred in at The Westside Arts Center; Mrs. Tancred in City Center’s
Encore production of Juno. Nationally: Voices of War, a one woman drama
commissioned by the Library of Congress. Annie played Rose, an 80 year
old holocaust survivor, in Martin Sherman’s one woman play of the same
name. She created, along with Roger Grunwald, The Mitzvah (originally
entitled Walter& Jakob) at the Emerging Artists Theatre’s “Illuminating
Artists” festival. The Mitzvah which stars Mr. Grunwald and is directed by
Ms. McGreevey, has been chosen for fiscal sponsorship by the New York
Foundation for the Arts. It is currently touring nationally. Television: Ms.
McGreevey has most recently been featured on Law and Order, Law &
Order: Special Victims Unit, and Six Degrees. Over the years she has also
been featured in numerous television commercials. Ms. McGreevey is a
concert artist, nightclub performer, and recording artist. A graduate of
LACC’s School of Cinema, and an alumna of AFI’s Directing Workshop For
Women, Annie wrote, directed, and produced several short films. Her film,
The Sheet Cake, aired on PBS stations throughout the South. She is a
founding member of The Alliance of Woman Directors.

Robyn Babina as 'Ashley Wainwright'
For as long as she can remember, Robyn Babina has always had a fascination with acting. Her BFA in Film/Drama from Syracuse University allowed her the opportunity to explore different aspects of the industry and after college, she spent 10 years directing school productions and teaching drama to middle school students. In the winter of 2011, Robyn joined a community theater group and she began taking classes and fine tuning her skills by studying the methods of Uta Hagen, Stella Adler, the Meisner Technique, and practicing improvisation with the Magnet Theater and UCB. In these few short years, Robyn has appeared as principal and supporting characters in all forms of media including short and feature films, television productions, webseries, commercials and also theater. She currently lives in southern Connecticut with her husband and her two little boys. Robyn is also a co-founder of Gladiolus Productions, LLC.
