When I was 16 years old - a close family member said that I would NOT graduate highschool, end up pregant and on welfare. I've been Dreaming a BIG Dream ALL of my life; which was to NOt allow another's opinion of me to determine my destiny. My story is about EVERY girl, woman, man, boy - Human being.
This NAACP-nominated 1-woman show is a vehicle; which will allow me to give back financially, socially and physically where I can be of service in a Monumental way.
i've partnered up with an LA based 501 (c) 3 non-profit - Peace4kids. I need your help to get this show to the masses. With your donation, I can get deep in the trenches with the work that Peace4kids is already doing for our young people. This organization is truly on the front lines of addressing the needs of foster and at-risk youth in the South Los Angeles neighborhoods of Watts, Willowbrook and Compton. Peace4Kids is dedicated to empowering foster and at-risk youth by providing community as family.
