About the Project

I am young artist and graphic designer from Europe. Since 2010, I specialize in creating of various decorative wall-posters and maps. After few years of freelance work for various companies, both domestic and international, I have recently decided to finally start my own full-scale project.

I am planning to open my own online store, and start selling poster prints of my own design, both for educational and decorative use, with very reasonable prices. I am currently working on 4 poster designs, most of them being very close to completion, Political Map of the World, World Stereotypes Map, Periodic Table of the Elements, and of course, Map of the Internet. All of them could be available for sale in mid-January 2014.

To succesfully start this, I will need only about 1650 dollars(€1200). I will use this money to finish all posters, to get my own eshop and website running, to boost the effectivity of printing by going large-scale from the beginning, and basically to kickstart this project to sustainable scale.

  • To get this project finished and working, I don't need much. 1650 USD will be more than enough. However, if you donate more, it could significantly increase quality of the final products and websites, and I will be able to finish the project in much shorter time.
  • To everyone who donates more than $70(€50), I will send free signed poster of the map, on high-quality matte paper.
  • To everyone who donates more than $135(€100), I will send free signed giant-size poster of the map, on high-quality matte paper.
  • To everyone who donates more than $1375(€1000), I will send free signed giant-size poster of the map, on high-quality matte paper, framed in luxurious black frame made from english oak.
  • Even if I don't reach my full goal, I will be very thankful for every raised penny. I will still invest all money I get into this project.

Why Map of the Internet?

Since "The Map of Online Communities", which was created in 2009 by XKCD, only few attempted to draw their own internet map designs, and none of them on this scale. This is first full-size world-style Map of the Internet ever made, even more detailed than many real-world political maps.

  • Perfect room decoration for any IT enthusiast, computer geek or hardcore gamer!
  • Includes majority of most used websites in English World, all major videogame and software companies, 50 top channels on youtube, and a lot more!
  • Incredible amount of information crammed into one poster, while keeping clarity on  considerably high level.
  • In addition to main map, this poster also includes 4 minimaps, showing Global Internet Usage, Most Popular Browser by Country, Most Popular Social Network by Country, and Level of NSA Surveillance by Country, and text panels of the History of Internet, 500 Most Visited Sites, 100 Largest Software Companies, and much more!
  • First Internet Map to feature the unseen Deep Web
  • Fully usable for online navigation, and guaranteed to boost your knowledge about the Web.
