Manuel's New Vision Project
Manuel is embarking on an exciting project to revitalize American Fashion by developing a new line of "one of a kind" products that will feature traditional Manuel flair and quality at an affordable price. Setting out to raise $250,000 in new capital for this project and its operations, Manuel will also be contributing to his beloved Music City by creating employment opportunities in the community and introducing his legendary design techniques to the next generation of fashion designers.
The New Vision
After decades of dressing the biggest names from country music, ock and roll to Hollywood legends and heads of state, Manuel is launching a new line of affordable high quality "one of a kind" pieces with the same superior craftsmanship associated with the Manuel brand.
Manuel's vision is to use the early 20th century artisan and craftsman techniques with 21st century technology to achieve lower price points with Manuel quality made in America. You can learn more about Manuel's new vision by checking out the video in the UPDATES TAB.
Who is Manuel?
Manuel's original designs have become the trademark of true American style. Manuel was responsible for making Johnny Cash the "Man in Black." He crafted Elvis’ signature gold lamé suit. He fashioned the garments Bob Dylan wore when performing for the Pope. He has dressed all four generations of Hank Williams. And, if this is not enough to bring him a legendary status in music history, you can thank him for both The Rolling Stones and The Grateful Dead’s notorious insignias. But it doesn’t stop here: presidents, athletes, dancers, artists and movie stars have also donned his glittering couture. He has created wardrobes for over 90 movies and 13 television shows. Expect The Unexpected!
The fresh "New Vision" line will create a new chapter in American design by fusing elements of traditional American western design with new innovative design elements.
"New Vision" will include shirts, pants, dresses, skirts, jackets, boots, leather items and accessories (view some of Manuel's one of a kind merchandise by clicking on the Media Gallery Tab above).
Do not expect to see the elaborate, and at times, over-the-top embroidery and rhinestone designs that Manuel is known for around the world. This is a "New Vision."
Manuel needs to raise a minimum of $250,000 to:
Purchase state-of-the-art equipment including screen printing, CAD design, embroidery, sewing and boot making equipment
Establish an artisan co-operative that will create the new clothing designs, boots and accessories under Manuel's direction
Restructure business operations to support his new vision
Produce first run items and promote them for sale in Manuel's store, retail establishments and online.
The project plan projects that these new items will start in production in about 4-6 months and will be available for retail sale in about 5-8 months after the funds are collected.
