Look Up - The Story

LOOK UP, written and directed by Scott McInnes, is the story of Audrey and Dennis - a couple that find one another the day UFOs descend from the heavens to hang above the streets of Toronto. The film follows their struggles as life adjusts to a new version of 'normal' and our characters begin to lose touch with the world in front of them.

This project will be completely funded by you, IndieGoGo-ers!

Why Should You Help Us?

1. Help a group of talented artists take the next step in their careers.

2. Become a part of the magic behind making movies. Check out the perks on the right, aimed to include you each step of the way, as we make Look Up

3. Support local Canadian talent.

4. Fans of future sci-fi genre, how would you react to aliens appearing in the sky.

Where Do Your Donations Go?

Everything. The crowdfunding goal will fund every aspect of this production. From lights, lenses, wardrobe, set design, and locations. That's not to mention keeping our cast and crew in sandwhiches as they work tirelessly to make Look Up the amazing short film we know it can be.

Our funding goal is $5000, with that money we can make our film using hand-held DSLRs, reflectors, and a whole lot of elbow grease. Every additional dollar above that goal will be sunk into upgrading the basics (better sets, wardrobe, design, etc.) Our wildest, craziest dreams have us shooting on the Red Epic cameras, but they aren't cheap.

At the end of the day it's about story, and we've got a phenomonal tale to tell. Just how gorgeous LOOK UP is as a final product will be decided by you!
