My name is Stacy Moon and I'm a senior film student at Northwestern University. This year, I have had the privilege of writing and directing my thesis film, KEEPER, with the support of the Radio/TV/Film department and Studio 22, NU's student production company.
Inspired by the grandiose horror of Grimm fairytales, KEEPER is the story of a woman and her dangerous younger brother who live isolated from the outer world. Driven to the wall as a trapped caretaker, the woman decides to call a dating service that sends a man to her home.

What We Need & What You Get
I have been extremely fortunate to have an incredibly dedicated, talented crew and cast, all of whom I am proud to say couldn't be more excited about the progress of KEEPER. We shot principal photography this past winter, and the film is nearly picture-locked. It is set to have its world premiere at the NU Radio/TV/Film senior directing screening in the first week of June 2013.
We were also extremely fortunate to have received several competitive grants from Northwestern, which has sought us through pre-production and shooting. However, there are still many elements in post-production that we need to accomplish, as well as the opportunity to show it to folks such as you. Funds raised here will go towards helping us with elements such as a pick-up shoot, the score, sound design, color correction, and, last but not least, festival submissions.
In return for your support, we will include you in our credits and send you signed posters, DVDs, and/or memorabalia from the movie (see the Perks).
Thank you for considering our movie!
Please take a look at our trailer, and we hope that the work we have accomplished so far would receive your vote of confidence in this project.
My hope is that finishing KEEPER will allow me to continue to write and direct films after I have left Northwestern. This has been an immensely rewarding project so far, and I feel it would be a shame not to share the completed film with as many people as possible. Thank you so much for getting this far in my pitch, and I hope that the trailer, which showcases the work my crew has accomplished so far, inspires a donation.
Have a wonderful day,
