We are a non-profit organization that helps seniors to achieve what’s left on their “bucket list.” We also create a supportive community to inspire other seniors to reach for their dreams. Each participant’s journey is captured through a documentary video or “Jumpisode.” These amazing life stories are shared on our website, social media outlets, as well as presentations to senior communities across the country. When a senior participates in Jump!, they are part of our Jump! community for life.
Since we launched the charity on October 15, 2012, we’ve helped many seniors achieve their dreams and inspired countless others with their stories. This list includes Estelle Eisenberg who went skydiving on her 90th birthday and Edna Bladwin who drove a race car one week before turning 92. You don’t have to do something daring to find inspiration as we also featured stories on Joe Lanahan who started playing guitar at 85, Sunny Gilliland who at 93, still teaches 4 dance classes a week, and 86-year-old Fran Bera who is an active pilot and continues to mentor flight students.
This is the heart and soul of our organization. It goes beyond fulfilling the bucket list. It finds seniors who continue to live extraordinary lives who inspire other seniors to do the same.
Our short-term goals and immediate needs are to secure adequate funding in order to financially support current and future Jumpisodes. It’s our mission to keep each story relevant and to find seniors with variety of inspiring bucket list items. These “Jumpisodes,” shared through social media and other traditional methods, help to open the possibilities for many more seniors.
Unlike many of the other charities, no salaries are paid through Jump! All the funds raised are used solely for the efficiently use of our charitable objectives. Please help us to inspire the generation that made our world today possible!
