Short Summary

KRSC-FM 91.3 and the Student Broadcasting Association at Rogers State University in Claremore, OK, have joined together to host a local music concert.

91.3 FM is an all student-run station at RSU that plays alternative style music and has become an outlet for local bands in the community to get exposure.

The SBA is a club on campus for any student with interest in broadcast media. They provide scholarship opportunities, competitions, and a chance to network with professionals in the industry.

Jam Band will take place at 7PM October 4th, 2013 at the Will Rogers Auditorium on the campus of RSU in Claremore. Featured performers are Desi and Cody, FM Pilots, The Bourgeois, Jason Ferguson, and All About A Bubble.

What We Need & What You Get

This money will go to the SBA to help with funding the concert and provide students with more opportunities to work with professional equipment. We are asking for $1000 to put toward promoting, recording, and distributing the concert. This includes the production of CDs and DVDs.

The Impact

This project will do a lot to help the local music scene by providing a venue and exposure for artists. It will also provide hands-on experience with audio and video recording to our students as well as experience in marketing.
