It's a Sid Meier's Pirates-style game (sail around with a ship, shoot at pirates!) that has the basics for a tycoon-style game (buy ships, assign trade routes). it will likely be a different scene with a Pirates-style controllable ship. The scenery of game sets in the Bermudas Isles. Build forts and buildings, and send your ships to lay siege to the enemy!
The Scene of Somers Isles
In each Scene Level there will be at least eight types of ships, each with their own unique capabilities and strengths.
- Two game modes: Strategy mode (tycoon) and Exploration mode (pirates).
Added a new game mode (Exploration) -- just sail around with a ship. - Added wave trails behind the ship in exploration mode. It's possible to place towns at runtime and then have the traders explore to find them and establish towns nearby.
Flexible combat system (attach any number of cannons on your ship, each with customized amount of damage, reload time, accuracy, etc).
Easily tweakable damage system (hull HP, sail HP, damage reduction, etc).
Visible damage via ship's sails.
Ship customization via built-in fake decal system using secondary texture coordinates.
Fully working trade route logic — establish, assign goods and ships… profit!
Add new Ships, Props...
We have the intention of integrating cross platform (between iOS, Android, Mac, PC, Linux and OUYA) multi-player into the entire game. With all this in mind we have a very finite amount of resources to apply to the task at hand, but we feel that the end result will push the boundaries of the genre a little further and hopefully produce an amazing game.
We are a independent game development studio from Taiwan. I have been working on a Island Siege - Battle Pirates Game for about 2.5 months, finished with most of the basic gameplay features. Spent tons of time optimizing the server and designing new GUI. Any questions and not too rude comments are welcome! We will be grateful for all your suggestions and opinions.

We absolutely need your help because we don't have a lot of money to support the making of the game, and this is the only chance that we have to make our dream possible.
Your generous pledges will go towards:
* Paying Artists and Sound Designer: We will need money to pay our wonderful team for their hard work.
* Promotion & Marketing: We will need to commission awesome final box art, promotional graphics, video trailers, etc.
