Incendiary is the third horror/comedy indie feature film by Evan and Kerry Marlowe.
Jonathon Gale is a British indie horror film director hoping for a hit. He’s thrown a ton of his own money into the project which he’s titled, “Incendiary.” It's about a madman who videotapes young girls killing themselves in the hope of fame beyond the grave.
But Jonathon's production seems plagued by problems. It’s not until one of his actresses is gunned down by her boyfriend that he realizes he’s facing not simply a series of mishaps… but in fact a full-blown curse.
The bizarre calamities escalate: blindness, lightning strikes, possession, alien invasion and a zombie apocalypse.
But still he presses on -- joined by his crew of eccentrics – seeking the one who cast the sinister curse, a disgruntled actress. The world may be spiraling into utter chaos, but Jonathon is going to finish this film!
Incendiary is inspired by the long list of cursed film productions: Rosemary's Baby, Superman, The Omen, The Wizard of Oz and more. Only much MUCH worse.
Kerry and Evan Marlowe are a pair of married filmmakers and co-owners of the production company Sweet Home Films, LLC. The couple has released two low budget horror flicks, Blood Rush and Horror House (starring the legendary LLOYD KAUFMAN (Toxic Avenger)) . Both films will have worldwide digital and DVD releases in the next few months. Here's where you can download Horror House once it goes live October 1st:
Kerry graduated film school in the UK and since she moved to the states has been acting, producing and screenwriting. Evan is an award-winning director who also serves as editor, cinematographer and audio guy.
Patrick McClanahan is a kick-ass composer who has been working with the Marlowes recently on several of their productions including the web series Shazza and the short film Trippy.
John Sellings is a UK-based visual effects artist at Viva Vancouver Productions. He will be handling the film's CGI, including all forms of alien and zombie annihilation, and will colorize the finished film.

During Phase One your contributions will go toward the starting funds:
Equipment. Cameras, lights, audio, all that gear. Whatever we don't already own we will rent.
Talent and Crew. The zombies, aliens and murder victims will need a seasoned make-up and special effects artist to sculpt and mold. We'll need stunt men.
Locations. Many of the scenes will be shot in apartments and houses for free, but several key locations will need to be rented.
Miscellaneous. Permits, insurances, craft service, and loads of other hidden expenses which never show up directly on the screen but which will allow us to make the movie and market it to distributors. Hey, we didn't make the rules.
Once completed and sold, Incendiary will be available on iTunes, Netflix, Redbox, Amazon and many other platforms.
For your kind contribution of only $10, you will get a stunning five-set of postcards of past Jonathon Gale productions. Some of the designs you may receive include...
And for $100 you get a You vs the Aliens! screen grab. Send us a photo of yourself screaming and we will drop you into a shot of the alien mother ship zapping your sorry butt! (online delivery)
Pre-production is well under way, and principle photography is set to begin during the spring of 2014. We estimate it'll last three to four weeks. Then Evan will cut the film, and it's off to Patrick and John for post-production. Once it gets acquired by the sales company, setting up agreements with all the distributors may take several more months. The entire process is expected to last one year, at which point Incendiary will be available on DVD and VOD, worldwide.
We appreciate all your support. And if you can't chip in a buck, we'd love any support you can give us. Crowdfunding isn't just about raising money, it's about building a partnership with our fan base. We're incredibly excited to get started on Incendiary, and hope you want to come along on this unforgettable ride with us.
