Veterans Services of America, Inc., a non-profit organization, provides safe and affordable housing for homeless veterans.

Recently. over 135,000 veterans were homeless. Thanks to the support of generous people that number has been dropping. The last count on a January night in 2012 was 62,619 homeless veterans.

Veterans Services of America, Inc. works with County, State and Federal Government agencies to help end veteran homelessness. Unfortunately, the amount of funding available from government agencies is not sufficient to meet the demand for housing.

Some veterans have fallen on hard times, or have been unable to thrive, or even survive, in civilian life. In some cases they have been forgotten or rejected. In other cases they faced life challenges. These retired soldiers need a safe, clean place to call home and that will get them on the path to creating a stable life and future. Giving them a chance is the least we owe them.

Your contributions are vital. Currently, Veterans Services of America, Inc. manages 11 buildings with 39 individual apartments, but more housing is urgently needed. There is a long waiting list of desperate homeless veterans we need to help so they can begin to live a decent life with dignity and self-respect.

With Winter coming there is no time to lose to get as many homeless veterans off of the street and into safe housing.

Donations of $25 to $1,000 are earmarked for renovation costs of 1 or 2 bedroom apartments turning them into homes worthy of our veterans. Larger donations can be used to purchase additional buildings that can be transformed into more veteran¹s housing.

The housing is only used for veterans.

We are a national 501(c)3 Non-Profit Corporation making your contribution tax deductible.
