Help save my cat he was diagnosed with pancreatitis he stopped eating&drink and needs a tube in neck

Hi! I am owner of 4 wonderful cats. One of my cats, Mr. Wiggles, was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis. Mr. Wiggles has stopped eating and drinking and his skin is yellow. Right now I am force-feeding him orally but he DESPERATELY needs a feeding tube if he is to survive.

Unfortunately we do not have all the money that is needed to ensure a speedy recovery. So far we have maxed out our discover card and are in the process of applying for another credit card so that we can keep up with these costs. Fortunately A friend of ours is letting us borrow some money so that he can get the feeding tube. However, we promised to come up with at least half of the money he is lending us in 45 days. My hope is that we can raise some of that money here.

UPDATE: Wiggles got his feeding tube but is in very rough shape. He is too weak to move and I have to literally walk him and put him in the potty as well as feed him which takes about 40 minutes because it has to be done slow so he doesn't puke which could be bad due to his feeding tube. I dropped half my classes at cornell to be buy his side.

Mr. Wiggles was taken to the vet for a follow up today. It looks like he is going to Pull through. He still needs constant care and testing but the vet is hopeful about his progress. I just acquired a second job, part time, to help with all of these vet bills. Times are hard these days but wiggles is a fighter and so am I.

I want to thank everyone who Has donated to Mr. Wiggles cause or sent emails offering prayers. I just wanted to keep the people who care posted on his condition. It appears that Mr Wiggles is having a little reaction to the topical solution that was used on him around his neck before they implanted the feeding tube.  The fur around Wiggles neck is coming off and it looks pretty awful so we took him to the animal hospital last night and the doctor said that he will be fine.  Other than that Mr. Wiggles is doing a lot better now that he is getting proper nutrients through the tube. slowly but surely Mr. Wiggles is getting healthy. The cat food milkshake we have to make for him and feed to him through his tube is kind of gross but it is helping a lot. Stay posted for more updates.

Mr. Wiggles is progressing slowly. He has an appointment next week for a biopsy of his liver but I am not sure I will come up with enough money in time. They want to check him for Hepatic Lipidosis(fatty liver disease). I guess his liver may have taken a hit when he stopped eating. I don't know much about this but he had an untrasound done and it showed a possible swollen liver. Anyways please pray for Mr Wiggles and keep your fingers crossed that his liver is OK. He is on some new medications, including one vitimin shot in his back area that he really hates. Hopefully, even if he has that fatty liver thing, the fact that he is getting nutrients will reverse it (I hope but I have no idea if that is wishful thinking or not)

Unfortunately his needs do not stop at a feeding tube. Mr. Wiggles also needs a liver biopsy, an ultrasound, bloodwork and numerous medications including: buprenorphine (for pain), tramadol (for more pain), mirtazapine (apetite stimulent), steroids, vitamins and Subcutaneous Fluids. If we are able to raise enough money then the animal hospital would also like to have him stay there a few days after he gets the feeding tube so that he can be observed around the clock.

Mr. Wiggles is my oldest cat out of my four cats and he really is very special. He was given to me as a gift from my father before he passed away and losing him due to this disease would make the pain that much worse. He is also my toddlers favorite out of the four and I don't want her to experience such a loss so early in life. She is already asking me why he wont play anymore.

The animal hospital has assured me that he has a great chance to survive and live a healthy life (although probably always on medication and needing to be tested for flare-ups now and again). Therefore, I wouldn't forgive myself if I put him down without ever knowing if his life could have been spared. He is a part of my family and I will always fight for my family.

All donations will go solely towards Mr. Wiggles medical bills such as tests, surgury and medications. No donation is too small and anything that anyone can give will be acknowledged through the perks.

Any money that I might make above and beyond my goal will also be put  towards Wiggles medical expenses. However, I will also take 10% of anything above and beyond my goal and donate it to the local SPCA.
