EDUKWEST is always on the search for projects that have the potential to change education for the better. This is one of them.
Hi, I’m Ravi, I created Schoolarship to help lower the amount of student debt. There’s currently over 15 billion dollars of debt outstanding in Ontario alone.
Students graduate with an average of $26,000 of debt, and in certain situations, it can take over 20 years to pay pack.
These are some the reasons why I’m creating Schoolarship. I want to help students by providing them with education grants that will be used to pay for their tuition.
The Schoolarship model is quite simple: a contest application will be created where students will interact with sponsors. The proceeds from the advertisements will then be provided back to students in the form of education grants. We want to provide $5,000 education grants to 200 post secondary student in our first year of the contest.
This fundraising campaign is to help develop the Facebook application which will host the contest. To help Schoolarship succeed, we need your help and support.
