EVERY CHILD NEEDS A FAMILY!
Are you adopted? Have you adopted a child? Has adoption touched you or your family in some way? If so, help The Gentile Family Foundation's fundraising efforts on behalf of The Gift of Adoption Fund by donating to their amazing cause.
The Gentile Family Foundation was established in 2011 as a direct way to impact the lives of children throughout the State of Florida through donations, volunteering and special events. The Foundation’s main fundraising event is a golf tournament that will be held annually at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club on the famed Copperhead Course. The tournaments beneficiary is The Gift of Adoption Fund.
Each and every contribution directly effects a child and family's ability to come together. Every dollar counts!
What We Need
Our goal, is to suplement the charity golf tournament we host in benefit of The Gift of Adoption Fund in hopes of presenting the charity with an even greater contribution. Our $5,000 goal can help place a child in a home.
Gift of Adoption (GOA) exists to address the needs of parentless children around the world. They do this by providing "adoption assistance" grants up to $7,500 to qualified U.S. citizens (many in the Tampa Bay Area) who are stepping forward to give these children permanent homes and the chance to thrive! GOA grants are given without regard to age, race, religion or marital status and provide a direct, immediate and cost-effective way to eliminate adoption-funding barriers and increase the number of children adopted in the United States each year.
100% of the funds raised by The Gentile Family Foundation are given to GOA.
GOA is a well run, national 501(c)(3) organization which funds approximately 100 grants on an annual basis, providing the final funding many adoptive parents desperately need to complete their adoptions. Since inception 10 years ago, GOA has provided approximately $2.93 million to finalize funding for more than 1,000 per-qualified families-some of whom live right here in the Tampa Bay Area.
The Gift of Adoption Fund leverages a centralized staff team of only 2.5 FTE's to manage the core functions of the organization, with seven (7) established and two (2) emerging chapters lead by Chapter Board leaders in key national markets. The founding chapter for GOA is the Florida Chapter in Tampa, Florida.
Because of the way GOA is structured, with the investor board and national board member contributions covering operating expenses, 100% of any contribution received from the tournament and The Gentile Family Foundation will go directly to finalizing the adoptions of vulnerable children who are already matched with qualifying families.
