An Introduction to Death Yard

 Death Yard has been involved in theming and designing Haunted Attractions and set design since 2006 and has been revolutionizing the Haunt Industry of Nashviile, TN ever since.

The Brains Behind Death Yard

 Death Yard is primarily run by two men, Brandon Brinkley and Carroll Moore who have created some of the best Haunted Attractions in Middle Tennessee.

Brandon Brinkley

Brandon has been associated with Haunted Attractions since 1998. He has construction, painting, product merchandising, and audio/animatronic technician backgrounds. He is the Project Director, and is the main contributor to the haunts success.

Carroll Moore

Carroll is the Creative Director of Death Yard and broke into the Haunt Industry in 1999. Having a deep passion for the Horror genre and Hollywood films, he started seeking ways to entertain the public off of the silver screen, making them live their nightmares through a Haunted Attraction. Carroll studied business at Middle Tennessee State University, has experience on various film and music video productions, and has his hands in every creative aspect of a Death Yard Attraction or set.

Our Mission

Death Yard's campaign is based on giving the Nashville and Southeast Region a unique and terrifying Haunted Attraction that is fun and memorable while also being affordable. Too many haunts are just in the business for a dollar. Although, being profitable is key, it's not the only thing that matters. Giving back to the community, offering a great place for family and friends to create memories and become reoccuring customers, and becoming THE BEST Haunted Attraction is what Death Yard strives for. Also, with Nashville becoming more engrained into the T.V. and Film industry, Death Yard has their sights set on tapping into that mainstream market as well. 

Imagineer Robert Iger once said,"University degrees for Applied Imagination were-and to my knowledge remain- nonexistent."Which means, there is not a degree for what Death Yard is trying to do here. It is just a small company with GRAND ideas and imagination and needs a spark, a hand, a little help to get those ideas off the ground and running. That is what Death Yard needs from this campaign. A little help and faith for the imaginative, creative, and hard working. 

 Death Yard's Needs and Your Perks

Death Yard's funding amount is $50,000 to build and create a fully functional Haunted Attraction.One of the most unique aspects of our haunts is that all of the sets can also double as filming/photo shoot locations in the off season providing a valuable service to the independent artist both near and far.

 The Breakdown

$40,000- Building materials, paint, hardware, outside labor, construction permits, fire alarm system and sprinkler, Website, and animatronics.

$2,000- Insurance for liablity and property for a year

$8,000 - Costumes, makeup, special fx, 1st year marketing, perk fulfilment.We are working with a group of very talented costumers,makeup artists, and vendors who will be able to create state of the art effects and looks on a minimal budget for our opening season. 

The lease would be covered by Death Yard and projections may change due to location or codes/ city ordinances.

If the goal is not met, all raised funds will stay in a "Future Haunt Fund" and Death Yard will continue to raise enough funding to open in the future.
