Lincoln County is a great place to live, grow and raise children. It is missing one thing, a safe place for it's underserved children to receive after school and summer mentoring, tutoring and physical activity. A small group of community leaders have been in a tireless pursuit to bring The Boys and Girls Club to Lincoln County. The Club is a nationally renowned organization that has been proven to improve the lives of the children and communities that it impacts. We want to bring that impact to our children in Lincoln County.
What We Need & What You Get
The Boys and Girls Club of Lincoln County will be primarily funded through generous donors. Most of our kids will not be able to pay the full fee. We will never turn a child away because they cannot pay. That's why we need you. In order to open our doors, we have to meet a $110,000 fundraising goal. We are almost half way there but we need help from our community and other supporters.
We don't have any snazzy giveaways to entice you to donate but you will see the results of your generous donations, the success stories of so many children who will benefit from the Boys and Girls Club.
Lincoln County currently has a great need for an organization that is dedicated to serving the at-risk youth of the community. The impact of your donation and your ongoing support will be an investment, not only in our children but in the future of our community.
Other Ways You Can Help
We understand that we are in a tough economy and that everyone is not able to just write a check to their favorite charity. That does not mean you can't help. We need you to get the word out the community. Tell a friend that the Boys and Girls Club is coming. We also have volunteer opportunities. We just ask that you pitch in and give us a hand to make this community a better place to live and raise our children.
