Code-X International is a non-profit organization based in the Netherlands, but our impact is global. Since 2004 we have sent hundreds of youth volunteers to projects in Asia, Africa, South and Central America to work with deprived children.
Our aim is to impact our youth volunteers by providing them with a way to develop new skills as well as a great intercultural experience, while at the same time providing positive academic and personal development of abused girls within Costa Rica. By contributing to this campaign, you make it possible for us to provide these services free of charge to not only the youth volunteers, but also the organizations in which they are placed.
Within the Foundation 4 Future Inclusion Project, Costa Rica, Code-x is supporting the opening of a safe house from young girls who have been forced into the sex trade. These young girls have been abused and denied their basic human right of an education. Yet, within this project, our volunteers will be there to act as house mothers to the rescued girls, allowing the doors of the safe house to be opened to at least 16 young girls.
So Why Donate? Well, your contribution will help to provide:
-volunteers to help open a new safe house for rescued girls, who have been forced into prostitution
-educational material for the girls, and tutoring for their academic advancement
-personal materials for the girls, as many will come into the home with nothing of their own
-and most importantly, a brighter future free of abuse and with the psychological and academic support that they desperately need.
Our volunteer depart on 1 April 2013, so we have only months left to raise funding for this project. By donating now you will contribute to global activism, as well saving young girls from forced prostitution. You can also receive great gifts that help to show your support and contribution to this project.
So donate now and show your commitment to combating human trafficking and forced prostitut
