Essential Realism is a Fantasy/Action film that will feature 60-70 cast/crew from around New England. It will be shot in the beautiful state of Maine beginning in late September. Our goal is to premiere in late Spring of 2014. All money raised will be put into the making of this film.
Plot: Four heroes of the story find themselves in gauntlet of death with various genres of enemies including:
Calvary Warriors (Click to learn more about the Calvary Warriors)
and an enemy straight from hell.
We follow our hero's through this game of death and watch as they progress from simple humans to hero's of unprecedented strength and abilities. This is done by accumulating weapons and skills from defeated foes throughout the gauntlet. These weapons and abilities are crucial to defeat each unique enemy type.

Your money will help us with buying food for the cast and crew.
Any money raised above the set goal, will go straight into the movie and increase the production value of the movie. This would include Green Screens, more detailed costumes and accessory's for costumes, movie props that will really enhance the visual experience of the movie.
Killatainment Films thrives on collaboration with others, everything from the script to individual characters with customized costumes. We fully believe that by giving the actors reign over their own characters, that it creates a fun and unique movie. We have teamed up with a few local film company's in order to make this movie happen, these will be announced soon.
Our first film "Bloody Solstice" can be viewed on the official Killatainment Films YouTube Channel for free. It premiered at a local theater and was described as a "geeks paradise". We had around 40 cast/crew involved in this film
We also just recently participated in the Portland, Maine 48hr Film Festival, in which we had 35 people involved. It received an award for best special effects. A Directors Cut is in the works, with improved special effects and additional footage.
