A 10-15 minute short film about Simon, a man searching for his identity, his place in life and at work.
Shot in a magic/realistic style, the film will blur the boundaries between the real and the constructed, mimicking celebrity culture.
On this particular day, Simon's world changes as he is mistaken for a reality TV star that looks exactly like him. His 'doppelganger' Samuel has become an instant celebrity after making a series of extraordinary predictions. Suddenly propelled into a whole new world in which he is given a place; Simon comes to realize that the people around him may not be worth his friendship after all.
We are a group of Goldsmiths, University of London students. This film is our final project and it is by far the most aspiring and demanding one. We are working on a story that requires numerous locations including offices and TV studios and we are eager not to go for the easiest options, but to go for the right ones.
By supporting us, you will help us to create a film that is not only going to draw attention to society's 'instant' celebrity culture but the ever rocky path of human self-discovery.

The funds raised in this campaign will all go towards the production.
There are 5 shooting days, and the money is going to be needed for props, costumes, locations, transport and catering.
The film will be finished by the end of March.
The more money we raise, the more detailed and better dressed our locations can be, so we would appreciate it a lot if you could donate and contribute to this project. There are some kicky perks if you contribute.
Spreading the word is just as valuable as money, so if you think that this film is worth making, please let your friends, family, colleagues know about us.
