Mr. Sexbang's new bass.

Ever since I started watching Ninja Sex Party's videos, I dreamt of gifting Danny a new bass. The blue lefty Yamaha almost matched Danny's old Sexbang leotard; But there was something off puting about it. The lightning strap put on a nice NSP vibe, but still something was missing. Years later came the Dragon Slayer. A more high production video with the new appearance of the Red Ibanez. My boner automatically became soft at the sight of the bass being made for a right handed person. I understand that it might add to the humor, but if Daniel Avidan is going to put on the role of a crooked "ladies man", then he needs the right tool to fit his persona. This would be perfect for him since this is the same model that Geddy Lee from RUSH used when he was younger. Knowing that Danny is a huge fan of RUSH, he would shed many a tear when receiving this. Also, original Rickenbacker's were popular in a time of funk, and we all know that Ninja Sex Party are the masters of funk (Fyi I wanna F your A). Finally, this gift would show our love and appreciation for all the entertainment he has provided us with. Giving back is a great thing.

What would we be getting back?

Do we really need to receive something in giving a gift? Is all of Daniels hard work not enough? Remember that he has a day job along side Game Grumps and Ninja Sex Party. What we would be receiving is getting to see this in future NSP videos and a huge "Thank You" posted somewhere. Either on the sub-reddit, or a video posted on the NSP channel or Game Grumps. If not there then we'll be damned to see it on Instagram. So let us show our appreciation and love for what Dan loves to do.

      Pricing and Model.

After searching for an original Rickenbacker lefty bass, I thought it would be much safer and cheaper to get a "re-make" of the Rickenbacker through "The Top Guitars Custom Shop". They make an exact replica (playable) of the 4003 Rickenbacker Bass. There options are broad but the website has a text field to request specific options. So here are the specs they are providing me:

      • Rosewood Fretboard
      • Mono Jack Output
      • 20 Frets
      • Neck Through Body
      • Hard Case (Must Need)

The defaults I have to assume (through pictures) are that it has a maple neck and mahogany body wings. I'm having the company mimic a non-burst paint job to mimic the original Rickenbacker it is based off of. I am also requesting it be 33.25 scale length because Danny has giant hands. Should i get special strap to go along with it? Here are the full specs:

      Number of Frets: 20

      Scale Length: 84.5 cm (33 1/4-inches)

Crown Radius: 30.5 cm (12 inches)

      Body Wood: Mahogany

      Neck Wood: Maple

      Fingerboard Wood: Rosewood

      Weight: 4.1 kg (9.0 lbs.)

      Overall Length: 113.8 cm (44 13/16 inches)

      Overall Width: 34.3 cm (13 1/2 inches)

      Ways You Can Help

When I finally got the courage to post this idea on reddit, a user by the name "kdebones" said the following:

"Frankly I think if most lovelies donate a buck or even fifty cents it wouldn't be that hard to get." -/u/kdebones

He/She is right. This person originally said this when the plan costed $4,000 dollars. But now the plan is a sixth of the cost. With shipping is $750 USD. The website tells me "$595.98" With modifications. Above the price, (on the website) it lists the shipping cost ($115). Hitting this goal will be easy if we work together. Feel free to donate up to 20 dollars maximum (USD) to make the dream become a reality.
