In partnership with Livingston Products, Inc.
My name is Arnold Sharkan, inventor of the COMMUTE-CASE ™ and President of Green Energy Motors Corp. As a seasoned inventor, I am passionate about bringing to market innovative consumer products that positively impact our lives while minimizing our carbon footprint.
Over the years, countless hours of R&D have been devoted into making this dream a reality. With the rise of crowd funding and technological advancements, the Commute-Case can migrate from a mere prototype to a consumer product.
As far as engineering is concerned, technological improvements in batteries and electric motors allows for the COMMUTE-CASE ™ to be feasible. This is where you come in. Your contribution will allow us to finalize the prototyping stage and prepare for mass production to make this innovation a reality.
Below you can view videos of the latest design in the prototyping stage, and an early prototype that serves as a proof of concept.
EARLY PROTOTYPE VIDEO
HOW TO RIDE THE COMMUTE-CASE
After the left and right footrests (or wings as some refer to them) deploy, along with the steering column, front and rear wheels, the Commute-Case ™ is now in ride mode.
Grabbing the steering column of the Commute-Case ™, the rider simply straddles over the deployed unit, (much like one straddles a bicycle), placing his or her left foot onto the left footrest, or, placing the right foot on the right footrest, whichever seems most comfortable. Next, the rider pushes the Commute-Case ™ forward slowly. Once forward movement begins, the rider adds the other foot onto the remaining open footrest. The Commute-Case ™ rider is now in powered forward motion, using the push button accelerator and manual lever brake to control the forward speed (up to 12.5 M.P.H.), and to slow down and stop the vehicle.
NOTE: The Commute-Case ™ is a Stand-On vehicle only, when the unit is in ride mode. You do not ever sit on the product, in any of its three modes. However, a seat attachment option may be considered for future models, as we receive more customer feedback. For those using Commute-Case ™ for local shopping, a handy flexible fabric shopping bag that expands when filled, attached to the case in trolley mode will function as a shopping cart while in the store. This optional shopping bag relocates above the rear wheel when returning from store. Both of these options/features are currently not available. However, when these options become available, they will be compatible with the purchased unit.
