Colorado Law Student Flood Relief

Help students at CU Law who have been impacted by the recent flooding. Needed: housing, cleanup, food, and replacement furniture, books, and computers.

Students at CU Law are recovering from the recent floods in and near Boulder. While everyone is safe, some students have lost housing, cars, furniture, books, and computers. Many of those affected are still displaced.

Financial assistance in helping to replace essentials of daily life and continuing the cleanup process is much appreciated. This fund will be administered by the CU Law administration with assistance from the students.

We are very grateful to the support we have already received from the community, including from our friends at the University of Denver's and the University of Wyoming's law schools. This fundraising campaign will be capped off by a CU/DU/CBA Fundraising Mixer on October 5, 2013.

Note that because funds from this campaign go directly to students, and not to the University, they likely are not tax-deductible. Tax-deductible donations are possible through our Dean's Fund by contacting Dean Whiting Leary, Whiting.Leary@colorado.edu. Contact a tax advisor if you have any questions.

Thank you so much!
