A little about myself & family
My name is Melody Ysasaga, I am 36 years old and have been happily married for almost 11 years. My husbands name is Che who has 2 daughters, Tori (18), and Cecilia (17). Che would give the shirt off his back and would do anything for anybody. One of the nicest people I have ever met and my best friend.
On June 7th, 2013 a mass the size of a melon was found growing between Che's left lung and his heart. On June 21st, 2013 he went in for surgery to have it removed and the doctor found that it had grown into his lung and damaged his diaphragm. Six hours of surgery later and the top lobe of his left lung had to be removed with the tumor, and his diaphragm worked on. His left diaphragm does not work now but needed stitched down so it didn't affect his breathing. Che had to stay in the hospital for 7days and probably should have stayed longer. He has a long road to recovery while his body heals and as his body gains it's strength again after such a complicated surgery.
Che is the "moneymaker" between the two of us making over double my salary. So him having to take so much time off work has really had a compact on our finances. We recently moved into a bigger house to accomodate our family and needing a bigger place. A lot of our bills are just having to go unpaid which is something we would NEVER do if we didn't absolutely have to. And we are not the type of people who ask for help feeling like it would be a "handout" but we really need some help. I don't know what else to do.
What We Need & What You Get
Che is expected to be off for at least 8-10 weeks, we are going on week 3 and are already behind. Our parents have helped out with what they could but we could use some more for rent ($1450/mo), necessary bills (utilities), and groceries. Any amount of money that we get will be greatly appreciated.
The only thing that we can give back in return is our gratitude, I wish we had more to offer. Come over any day of the week and I will make ya dinner. :)
Other Ways You Can Help
If you can't afford to give money then just share this page so as many people can see it as possible.
