This campaign is based around the idea of bringing high quality assets to people for a very low price. It's also geared towards providing assets for projects being developed for mobile platforms like iOS and Android. These assets are low poly, low bone count and have low texture overhead. I'll get into the nitty gritty technical details below.
What I'm hoping to achieve with this campaign is : Provide low cost assets to game developers for usage in their mobile projects. At the same time I am hoping to fund my own hourly work on these assets and expand the collection to include all (3) of the character sets. The sets will include a low poly zombie pack, a low poly military personnel pack, and a civilian pack. Each pack will consist of one universal model and (5) texture variations for each...this means 15 different animated characters for your game!
What you will get in this campaign is direct digital delivery of (3) different character packs. These consist of the Low Poly Zombie Pack, the Low Poly Military Pack and the Low Poly Civilian Pack. Each of these packs comes with (5) texture variations and at least (10) animations per character. Depending on the perk you choose you can choose to receive any single character set, (2) character sets or the entire (3) character pack! Don't forget the Low Poly Military Pack comes bundled with the Low Poly Weapon Pack (see below).

What I need are funds to cover my hourly rate for modeling, texturing, rigging and animation of the additional assets required to complete all of the packs. I anticipate this will be 2-3 weeks of work polishing up the assets and getting them all to a final deliverable state. I anticipate 30-40 production hours to complete the pack and my funding goal fits right into that.
Some technical details:
- All characters contain 16 Bones in their respective rig setups.
- The characters are setup using Biped in 3DS Max. This is important for editing or addition of new animations. I am providing the models in .max, .obj and .fbx formats. These formats are usable in a variety of game engines.
- Characters are 500 quad polygons, some characters may exceed this to a ceiling of 600 quad polygons.
- All characters use either a 256x256 or 512x512 PSD texture. These textures are fully editable, contain aptly named layers and make extensive use of layer styles and color overlays (allows flexibility in customizing look further).

These assets are specifically designed for iOS or Android development purposes. The handgun is 328 quad polygons, the combat knife is 128 quad polygons, the assault rifle is 1,394 quad polygons and the shotgun is 537 polygons. These assets will help you develop your mobile FPS, zombie shooter or any kind of military style game. They use 512x512 PSD textures which are also optimized for mobile purposes.
UPDATED BONUS - Low Poly Melee Weapons (Comes bundled with every character Pack)
These assets are specifically designed for iOS or Android development purposes. The Axe is 100 quad polygons, the baseball bat is 120 quad polygons, the machete is 130 quad polygons, the katana sword is 65 quad polygons and the pipe wrench is 500 polygons. These assets will help you develop your mobile FPS, zombie shooter or any kind of military style game. They use 512x512 PSD textures which are also optimized for mobile purposes.

These visuals are only for clothing texture ideas and are not my own final concepts or 3d models. These are images from the work of artist tom_drin. I only include them to give a general idea of the type of look the civilians may have. The animations for the civilians will include the standard, walk, run, jump, death, being struck/hit, hiding/taking cover and two types of panic animations.
I think this campaign can open up a world of funding the creation of high quality assets and delivering those to people at a very low cost. This is possible due to the nature of crowdfunding. The more folks participating, the more it helps everyone!
