We need your help raising funds for St. John's Bread and Life Mobile Soup Kitchen!
The Chappell Players Theatre Group has been the premiere theatre organization of St. John’s University in Queens, New York since the 1930s and produces about eight main stage shows per year often in conjunction with The National Theatre Honor Society, Alpha Psi Omega. Our objective is to share our great passion for theatre and the arts in an entertaining, educational, yet affordable manner, while supporting and serving our university and community in any way possible.
On November 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, the Chappell Players Theatre Group and Alpha Psi Omega will be performing its 15th Annual Cabaret For Charity: CabaNOIR. The Cabaret is a song and dance show that conveys a story through a particular theme. This year's performance, written and directed by alumni Richard Masin and Daniel Bayley, tells a hilariously stylish tale of cops versus gangsters set in the classic era of film noir.
All proceeds earned from the show will go to the St. John’s Bread and Life Mobile Soup Kitchen Program in their tireless efforts against poverty and hunger in the five boroughs of New York City. Any monetary donation would be incredibly appreciated, no matter how small the amount, to support those most in need this holiday season.
