Bykota House is a children's home in Phnom Penh Cambodia that, unlike an orphanage or an institution, is based on the God-given model of a family. We are blessed to have some of the most precious children in Cambodia set into our family. Several of our children have special physical challenges that make their life much more difficult; requiring special care and nutrition.

Bykota House receives children who have been orphaned through death or abandonment.  Children are not refused based on the basis of religion or physical illness or disabilities.  Many of our children have extended family members who love them but are not able to take them into their own home and care for them on a permanent basis. We encourage these family relationships  to continue and the children often visit their extended family during national holidays and school breaks.

Recently Bykota House's project agreement with Cambodia's Ministry of Social Affairs was approved and signed! This agreement is good for another 3 years.  As part of this renewal the government has requested that BYKOTA House accept more children.  There are currently 25 children, 18 boys and 7 girls living at Bykota House.  The Cambodian Government wants BH to double in size to 50.  This shows an incredible amount of trust and respect from the government, but also poses a great challenge to Bykota House.

There are many costs involved when a new child is added to the Bykota House family.  Blood work, a medical exam, dental care,  immunizations, legal fees, school fees are one time costs that add up to about $800.  Ongoing costs such as food, housing and clothing add up to about $150/month for each child.

Will you help us?  Any amount can make a difference.  $22 will pay for one Bykota House kid to go to school for a month.  $150 will pay for all the living expenses (Food, clothing, rent, etc.) for one child for one month.  A gift of $800 will allow Bykota House to welcome a new child into their family.   A $950 investment will allow them to bring a new child in to Bykota House and support that child for one year.  Your gift will make an immediate and incredible difference in the life of a child.  Please, join us in caring for Cambodia's orphaned and abandoned children.
