Thanks for checking out our indiegogo page!!! My name is Remy Wallace and I am the writer & director of Brotherly Love. I am a Philadelphia native, who has lived in Los Angeles for the last 8 years, constantly working on acting, filmmaking, producing and directing. To make this film a success has been a dream of mine for a very long time. For the last six months I have been obsessed with creating this project, and am now overjoyed that it is happening. It's happening! We are assembling a professional cast and crew who are passionate about independent film, and about this project. You can help make our film better by contributing on this site. All donations will be going toward equipment, production costs, marketing and festival outreach. The only way we can make this film a success is with your help! Thanks for visiting our page, and we'll be seeing you on the big screen!
Brotherly Love tells the story of Tommy Kelly, who has just been released from prison after 6 years. When Tommy returns to his South Philadelphia home, he discovers that his brother, Joey, has not exactly been "brotherly" in Tommy's absence. Furthermore, Tommy's ex-girlfriend, Gina, has a few surprises up her sleeves. Things are looking bleak, but Tommy finds hope in an old friend, Hannah, the local bartender. Brotherly Love deals with issues of family loyalty & love, and the moral dilemmas that arise as a result.
What We Need & What You Get
We have a very specific budget, which includes costs and fees for equipment, marketing, locations, licensing, SAG Ultra Low Budget for cast & crew and catering. We have also budgeted for post production costs such as festival entrance fees and editing. Remy Wallace has already invested his life savings toward making this film, but it will not be nearly enough. That's why we need your help! We have awesome rewards available for you, from hugs and "facebook shout-outs" to T-shirts, signed DVD's, the opportunity to be an "extra" in the actual film and even an "Executive Producer" credit. Visit our rewards section for more details...
We want to make the best film possible and your donation will go a long way to helping make that dream become a reality. Please consider donating to "Brotherly Love".
Other Ways You Can Help
We completely understand if you are unable to make a financial contribution at this time. But you could also help us by spreading the word about our film with others on social media, email, or by word of mouth. Thanks for helping us on our journey!
