About Bald Noggin Studios, Storms/McLemore, and your contributions!
Hello! Tim Storms and Jon McLemore here. THANK YOU for visiting our site. We are so excited to share this project with you. First, a little about ourselves... We are just a couple of simple family guys with a love for singing. Individually, we have enjoyed a great deal of success in music, and we hope to accomplish even more by joining forces. Two bald heads are better than one!
Tim is a graduate of Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL, where he earned a B.S. in Music Production. He currently holds TWO Guinness World Records: Lowest Note Produced by the Human Voice - .189Hz (G-7); and Widest Vocal Range for any Human - 10 octaves. He has toured all over the world as a part of a cappella groups and as a solo artist. Past groups include: Timothy, Freedom, Vocal Union, Acappella, AVB, and Rescue. He has performed in Jamaica, Brazil, France, Switzerland, Fiji, and Russia.
BBC 1 Breakfast Tim Storms and Welsh Composer Paul Mealor
In 2012, Tim won an international talent search for the opportunity to work with Decca Records, composer Paul Mealor, and producer Anna Barry to record with the St. Petersburg Chamber Choir on their album Tranquility Voices of Deep Calm, singing in Russian and English. He also starred in the abstract performance art short film, Apotome, in Paris, France, singing most everything in French, below the range of the piano.

Wedding), Minnesota State Fair, The City of Nashville, and the Governor of Nevada. He has won numerous a
cappella recording awards (CARA's) and nominations over the past 15
years, and has toured with Go Fish, Four Shadow, The Acappella
Company, and Home Free (winners of The Sing Off Season 4). Jon was also featured with Claude McKnight of Take 6 on an instructional video for the Bret Manning Singing Success series in 2011.

We are thankful for your interest in our
project! Your contributions will allow us to upgrade/expand our
equipment, market our products and services, and help with start-up
expenses for our production company, Bald Noggin Studios. We will also
be producing our own a cappella recordings regularly as
WE LOVE MUSIC, especially a cappella music. Music is often described as the 'universal language', seemingly having no cultural boundaries or limitations. It is a tremendous gift, and a vital part of life! We want to share our gifts of music with the world, and also help other passionate artists create and share their music as well.
In addition to music production,
one service that we are particularly excited about is Family Legacy
Recordings. On a list of '37 things dying people regret', number 22 is
'missing the chance to talk to your grandparents before they die.' We will visit with, interview and record your loved ones, their stories of life growing up, anything they would like to pass on to the next generation. (Perhaps they are Veterans with moving and powerful stories of their service to our country!) We believe everyone has an amazing story, and we want to help preserve and document family history, enabling people to leave a legacy of their lives to their families.
Jon was able to interview and record his grandfather years ago, and had this to say about the experience:
"I learned so much about my granddad, and found out that he was a much more interesting person than I had thought! I always pictured him as a grandad, who lived in the same place all his life and worked in the garden every day. But as a young man, he traveled the country and worked various jobs from Tennessee to California, and had some wonderful and sometimes humorous stories to share from these experiences. The recording of his life story is priceless to me, and I am so happy I have it to share with my family. I only wish I had done this with a few other family members who are no longer with us." --Jon
What We Need & What You Get
We need $41,700 to get Bald Noggin Studios up and running. This will cover the cost of new equipment, operating expenses for the first 6 months, and marketing.
In exchange for your generous support, we are offering many exciting perks like exclusive early access to our recordings, collaboration opportunities, audio production services at discounted rates, custom songs, and chances to interact one on one in the creative process!
In the highly unlikely event that we do not reach the goal of $41,700, we will use whatever funds we receive to get the best gear we can and get started with the work. This lifelong dream WILL NOT DIE if we do not reach this goal!
Our mission is to provide the highest quality service in audio production, share our love for a cappella music and our faith. We have heard countless complaints about the audio production industry lately, about how many studios lack work ethic. We want to stand out as hardworking, caring individuals who will listen to our clients, and use our experience and knowledge to help them achieve their creative goals.
were able to record a song many years ago titled 'We'll Soon Be Done.'
We posted the song online and shared with a few people, but never officially
released it. One day, a few years after we'd recorded
the song, we received an email from a man in Fairbanks, Alaska. His
teenage son had recently passed away from a terminal illness, and he was writing to tell us that our recording of that song became his son's
favorite song in his final days. He wanted us to know that his son listened to it non-stop for the last week of his life, and he wanted to thank us for recording the song and sharing it. He thought we might be glad to hear that our music was having an impact as far away as Fairbanks,
Please help us do more of this! If we can encourage people through our music,
and help others make music that will do the same, we will be a huge
success!! You can be a part of this amazing journey, and we thank you
for contributing to this work!
Other Ways You Can Help
will be releasing our own a cappella recordings on a regular basis.
You can learn more about supporting this work by visiting our Patreon

If you aren't able to contribute financially, we
understand! You can still help us by spreading the word and telling
friends and family about our work! Indiegogo provides share tools, give them a try!
Finally, we appreciate your prayers! Please pray for our families as they support us in this new venture, and for our success as we share our love for a cappella music and our faith.
