So, What is rc-servo ?

Rc-servo , is a micro motors with a small dc power combined  with some small gear with a ratio of about 1:200 which has a  small chip as its brain and a small potentiometer as position  sensor . Usually round only 180/270 degrees only . There are also  modified into a continuous rotation servo with potentiometer  dethroned and replaced with resistors . Some types of servo  motors using the gear ratio of the metal with greater torque for  greater strength as well , with the construction of a small , neat  and powerful force that it is suitable for use in applications  requiring a small and lightweight power and precision strong  appropriate . Some applications using servo :

  1. Steering wheel or car / plane / helicopter / remote control boat
  2. Arm / hand / Leg of Robotic
  3. Small camera bracket for Pan , Tilt or Roll
  4. The Motorize Follow Focus DSLR camera system
  5. Timelapse Intervalometer Slider

Using Arduino , servo will have tremendous applications , can  adjust speed , can smooth / rough , can recall the memory  positions , and others .

There are actually a lot of training on the Arduino and servo at the internet , but  not  all aplication you need , the creative DIYers who want to explore  the servo is quite difficult when they want to learn some more  about this servo .
